How to play

  1. Point the phone at whoever is up and start recording before the prompt loads.
  2. The prompt appears above their head. Truths get answered, dares get done on camera.
  3. The group rates the answer or the dare 1 to 10 out loud.
  4. Pass the phone and keep the take running until everyone has had two turns.

Dares on camera

  • Read your last sent text in a news anchor voice.
  • Film a five second ad for your water bottle.
  • Do a slow motion walk across the room.
  • Rate your outfit out loud, 1 to 10.
  • Recreate your baby photo pose.
  • Do a dramatic reading of your notes app.
  • Sing your favorite snack order like an opera.
  • Give a ten second tour of your room.
  • Do a runway walk and end with a pose.
  • Teach a made up dance in fifteen seconds.
  • Act out your morning routine with no words.

Filming tips

  • Keep the camera on the person doing the dare, not on the room. The reaction shot is the clip.
  • Agree on a skip rule before you start, so nobody stalls the take arguing about a dare.
  • Shoot dares in one continuous take. Cutting mid dare makes it look staged.
